Report fraud

Suspect a scam? Don't sit on it. The fastest way to protect the next person is to flag the listing or user directly so our admins can review and remove it.

How reporting works

  1. Open the listing or seller profile you're reporting.
  2. Click the Report button (next to Favourite / Share on listings, or under the contact buttons on profiles).
  3. Pick a reason — scam, fake listing, harassment, etc. — and add any details.
  4. Our admins review every report. Confirmed scams are removed.

If money has already changed hands

Contact your mobile-money provider (MTN: dial *165#, Airtel: *185#) immediately to attempt a reversal — the window is short. Then file a police report at your nearest station and contact the Uganda Police Force's cybercrime unit. Send us a copy of the police report so we can ban the offender across NyumbaUG.
